A multimedia application with many features
Dissent attempts to be a full featured multimedia application that can play audio and video files as well as internet radio streams by using powerful media engine plugins such as GStreamer.
It also has robust functionality for both RSS feeds and Podcasts which can be viewed in the program's built in web browser.
The Dissent Project aims to tightly integrate services from various organizations such as Amnesty International.
Dissent is made in C# (Mono) and uses Gtk# as the user interface
