Mac-style menubar for gtk2/gnome/xfce
This is not one app, but 4 pieces of mutual-dependent softwares:
- Mac menubar patch for gtk2, for gtk 2.10.x and 2.8.x | source
- GNOME macmenu panel applet, for gnome 2.16.x and 2.14.x | source
- Xfce macmenu panel plugin, for xfce 4.4+ only | source
- Xfce round-corner panel plugin (optional), for xfce 4.4+ only | source
The home page points to an ubuntu HOWTO for getting and installing the patches and applets. The sources are currently hosted on AUR (Arch User Repository).
If you encounter any problem, please reply in the ubuntu howto thread (no matter the distro you use).
PS: LGPL license only applies to the gtk2 patch; the code of applets/plugins is in public domain.
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.10.x.

GNOME/Xfce macmenu applets 1.0.14:
- use ~/.macmenu-tslist for application title substitutes. A default list will be created in the first time, and modification is detected automatically.
